Infant Care Policy

The Family Medicine Center of Canyon and Immediate Care Clinic of Canyon does not treat infants under age six months. This policy insures infants receive proper care and treatment.  Family Medicine Center of Canyon does not have the appropriate equipment, supplies, nurses or phlebotomists trained to treat infants. Small infants, under six months of age, often require special resources to evaluate their illnesses.  Both BSA and Northwest emergency rooms are equipped to handle infant care.
